Jay Christopher Somers is an Oregon native who learned to make his wine from around the world. "Cutting his teeth" in the Dundee Hills when he first started crafting Pinot Noir allows him to not only bring deep ripe fruit flavors to his wines but also the mineral and earthy components from the iron rich volcanic soils.
This wine has purity, clarity and persistent aromas and flavors of sweet cherry, cream and spice evident on nose that drift through the palate and body of this wine straight to the finish. A truly expressive wine with wonderful purity of fruit.
